Bond Firm Chairman Richard D. Hole Named "Syracuse Best Lawyers Corporate Lawyer of the Year" for 2009

The designation by Best Lawyers of a "lawyer of the year" is new in 2009, and only a single lawyer in each recognized specialization in each community surveyed by Best Lawyers is being honored. Best Lawyers compiles its lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.

Mr. Hole is a Member of the Firm with over 30 years of experience counseling a wide range of corporate, institutional and professional clients in matters concerning Business and Corporate Law, Employee Benefits, and Health Law. In addition, he has occupied many leadership positions within the Firm, including Chair of its Finance Committee, Retirement Committee and Associate Committee, and is currently Chair of its Management Committee and a member of its Compensation Committee.

Mr. Hole received a B.A. degree from Hamilton College and received his law degree from Syracuse University (cum laude). He serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Central New York, is General Counsel to, and a member of, the Board of Directors of the Manufacturers Association of Central New York, Inc., and serves on the Ethics Committee of Community General Hospital. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for 25 years, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in American Law. Mr. Hole is a former Adjunct Professor at Cayuga Community College and Past President of the New York Employee Benefits Conference and the Central New York Alumni Association of Hamilton College, and Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the United Church of Fayetteville. He is admitted to practice in New York and is a member of the New York State and Onondaga County Bar Associations.
