Facilities Overview
Each program is conducted live from one Bond office and transmitted simultaneously via a videoconference network connecting our regional offices in Central, Eastern and Western New York, New York City and on Long Island. Bond's technology allows real time interaction between the attendees in our regional offices and the speaker(s).
Please note that since these conferences take place in Bond offices (with the exception of the Rochester office), seating is limited. Therefore, early registration is recommended. Lunch is included and will be served from 11:30 a.m. to Noon. Programs begin at Noon.
CLE Credit: Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of Continuing Legal Education in the State of New York. - Brief summary regarding buying and selling assets of distressed businesses through the Chapter 11 process
Faculty
STEPHEN A. DONATO is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh (B.A., cum laude, 1980) and Creighton University (J.D., cum laude, 1983). He also attended the London School of Economics.
Mr. Donato is Co-Chair of the firm's Business Restructuring, Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group. He has more than 25 years' experience representing financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, commercial debtors, creditors' committees, debtor-in-possession financing lenders, municipalities, bond holders, indenture trustees, examiners, purchasers of distressed businesses, landlords and equity holders. Mr. Donato is a frequent lecturer before a number of state, regional and national professional organizations. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 20101 and Super Lawyers®2.
SARA C. TEMES is a graduate of Wellesley College (B.A., cum laude, 2000) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., 2003).
Ms. Temes concentrates her practice in matters pertaining to commercial bankruptcy and reorganizations, creditors' rights and commercial transactions. She has represented a variety of clients, including debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, companies seeking to acquire assets in bankruptcy, and creditors' committees. Ms. Temes was previously associated with the firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, in New York.
