Bond's technology allows real time interaction between the attendees in our regional offices and the speaker(s) appearing in Syracuse.

Program
The Appellate Divisions in New York have adopted an entirely new set of ethics rules governing lawyer conduct which take effect April 1, 2009. This program will focus on the most significant changes contained in these new rules, including:

 

  • Formatting changes
  • Confidentiality as it relates to both current and former clients
  • New rules on obligations owed to prospective clients
  • Allocation of authority between client and attorney
  • And more

Faculty
JOHN GAAL is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A., with honors, 1974) and the Notre Dame Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 1977).

Mr. Gaal's practice covers the full range of labor and employment services on behalf of management. In addition to employment litigation (discrimination, breach of contract, tort claims, etc.) in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies (EEOC and NYSDHR), Mr. Gaal's practice includes such traditional labor services as union avoidance counseling, collective bargaining, and representation of employers before the NLRB and in labor arbitrations. Mr. Gaal is also a frequent author and speaker on issues of professional responsibility. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 20091, Super Lawyers®2, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in American Law.
