Each program is conducted live from one Bond office and transmitted simultaneously via a videoconference network connecting our regional offices in Central, Eastern and Western New York, New York City and on Long Island. Bond's technology allows real time interaction between the attendees in our offices and the speaker(s).
Please note that since these conferences take place in Bond offices, seating is limited. Therefore, early registration is recommended.

This discussion will include the following topics, among others:
- Multijurisdictional practice of law and the attorney client privilege
- Lawyers as whistleblowers
- Responsibility for other lawyers under your direction
- Conflicts involving outside counsel and affiliated entities
- In-house conflicts with organizational constituents
Faculty
John Gaal is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A., with honors, 1974) and the Notre Dame Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 1977), where he was Notes Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review (1977). Mr. Gaal clerked for the Hon. John A. Danaher, U. S. Court of Appeals for District of Columbia Circuit (1977-1978).
Mr. Gaal's practice covers the full range of labor and employment services on behalf of management. In addition to employment litigation (discrimination, breach of contract, tort claims, etc.) in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies (EEOC and NYSDHR), his practice includes such traditional labor services as union avoidance counseling, collective bargaining, and representation of employers before the NLRB and in labor arbitrations. Mr. Gaal has particular experience in the negotiation, defense and use of Project Labor Agreements on major public and private construction projects. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2011*, New York Super Lawyers 2010®**, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in American Law.
