Edward J. LoBello Joins Bond’s Business Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Practice

(New York, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce Edward J. LoBello has joined the firm’s New York City and Melville offices. LoBello concentrates his practice on business restructuring, chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations, workouts, corporate finance, creditors’ rights and related litigation. He also has significant international insolvency experience, as he represents foreign entities in chapter 15 and other cases.

“Ed’s national experience with some of the biggest clients and cases will benefit both our existing clients and other companies that are looking for this level of experience. His knowledge and understanding of this area of law will enhance our already strong business restructuring, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy team of attorneys,” said Kevin Bernstein, chair of the firm’s management committee.

Prior to joining Bond, Ed was a partner of a national and regional law firm, representing notable clients in bankruptcy cases in the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the District of Delaware, among other bankruptcy courts. LoBello is the author of “Local Bankruptcy Rules Toolkit” published by Thomson Reuters which is a key resource for attorneys practicing bankruptcy law in the Eastern District of New York. He was a contributing author of “Examiners in Bankruptcy Cases: A Guide for Examiners, Courts and Practitioners” published by Westlaw in conjunction with the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
