Heath J. Szymczak Elected to Habitat for Humanity Buffalo Board of Directors

February 22, 2016

(Buffalo, FL): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce Heath J. Szymczak, a member in the firm’s Buffalo office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Buffalo.

Heath founded the Canisius College Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity in the 1990s after seeing former President Jimmy Carter speak at the College. He became active with Habitat again via his association with Jerry Sheldon of the Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance, who is President and Executive Director of Habitat Buffalo. Heath is excited about his board position because he has deep respect for Habitat Buffalo’s mission of creating housing opportunities for low income families.  Heath commented, “Ronald and Margaret Talboys, who founded Habitat Buffalo, have worked tirelessly and selflessly for years and are a true inspiration. Through volunteer labor and mostly private donations, Habitat Buffalo has built or rehabbed 277 residences since it started in 1985.”

Heath has extensive litigation experience in business-related torts, complex commercial litigation, and other civil litigation.
