Businesses, whether for-profit or not-for-profit, often find themselves in contact with government agencies. When either a government agency initiates an encounter, or a business is making a request of an agency, there are certain methods that businesses should follow—and rules to know—to increase their chances of a favorable result. Focusing on New York state agencies, this program will cover reporting requirements and rules pertaining to gifts and contributions. Applicable to your interaction with all types of government agencies, we’ll also address how to frame issues, when to bring in outside assistance, officials to speak to—and most importantly, how to ask.
1.5 CLE Credits (Eligible for MCLE credit for newly-admitted attorneys)

Registration Fee $25 per person
The registration fee will be waived for demonstrated cases of financial hardship.
