Sara M. Richmond Elected as Member of Bond, Schoeneck & King

(New York, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2021, Sara M. Richmond, from the firm’s New York City office, has been elected as a member (partner) of the firm. Her appointment was announced by Kevin Bernstein, chair of the firm’s management committee, who said, “Sara is an outstanding lawyer who is committed to her clients’ success and possesses the qualities we expect and value in our members.”

Sara Richmond, a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D. 1989) and Johns Hopkins University (B.A. 1985), concentrates her practice in the areas of school law, labor and employment and cybersecurity, and regularly counsels public, private and charter schools in Westchester County, the Mid-Hudson Valley, on Long Island and within the greater New York City region. A large part of her practice is advising school administration and boards on minimizing and addressing risks inherent in the operation of educational communities. Sara prides herself on keeping both herself and her clients updated on all changes in the law as they relate to schools.
