In addition to experience with several aspects of acquisitions and sales of real property, Julia assists clients with other aspects of real estate development, including site plan review, variances, and zoning. Julia also has extensive knowledge of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). She has appeared before several municipalities on behalf of applicants on a range of projects. Julia also has experience drafting local laws and policies related to diverse topics including permitted uses, overlay districts, and other development requirements.
Julia assists in the preparation of correspondence, pleadings and other litigation materials related to zoning challenges that her clients face. She also has experience in researching and analyzing legal issues and prepared memorandums before the New York State Court of Appeals as well as the New York State Appellate Division.
