McKenzie’s practice focuses on legal research, writing and client advocacy across criminal, municipal, corporate and estate matters. She brings experience from law firm, government and academic settings, with a strong foundation in analytical writing and complex legal analysis.

McKenzie previously served as a summer associate at Boylan Code, where she drafted memoranda in municipal, tax, estates and corporate law; prepared motions and estate planning documents; assisted with corporate formation materials; and participated in client meetings.

Her government experience includes serving as a legal aid in the Ontario County District Attorney’s Office, where she researched criminal law issues, prepared reports on legal developments, and assisted with drafting and reviewing legal documents. She also supported legal education as a Legal Communications and Research Assistant at Syracuse University College of Law, providing individualized guidance to students and collaborating with faculty on assignment design.
