2026 Spring Labor and Employment Breakfast Briefing

April 28, 2026

By: Mark A. Moldenhauer and Paige M. Roseman

Please join us for the next session of our Labor & Employment Law Breakfast Briefing Series, designed to keep you informed on the latest developments impacting your workplace.

This program will focus on employer obligations relative to federal and state medical and family leaves of absence. Leaves present significant challenges for employers due to the varying requirements of different laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the NY Paid Family Leave, Paid Sick Leave and Human Rights Laws.

The goal of this program is to help legal and HR professionals:

  • Understand the general requirements and overlapping aspects of leave laws;
  • Be better equipped to manage employees on leave; and
  • Limit legal exposure associated with employee leaves of absence
