New Members Named In Garden City, Naples And Syracuse Offices

Syracuse, NY: Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce the election of three new Members (Partners) to the Firm: Christopher T. Kurtz (Garden City, NY), James F. Morey (Naples, FL) and Sara C. Temes (Syracuse, NY).
Mr. Kurtz is a member of the Firm's Labor and Employment, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation and Immigration Practice and resides in the Firm's Garden City Office. He concentrates his practice in Labor and Employment Law, particularly in the public sector, where he represents public employers in all matters related to collective bargaining, grievance and interest arbitration, administrative proceedings (PERB), disciplinary hearings, workplace investigations, General Municipal Law § 207-c, and employment litigation. He is a graduate of Boston College (B.A., Political Science, cum laude, 1999) and St. John's University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2003).
Mr. Morey is a member of the Firm's Property Law Practice and resides in the Firm's Naples, Florida Office. Mr. Morey concentrates his practice in real estate law. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate Attorney and represents developers, financial institutions, buyers and sellers, and condominium associations on a wide range of commercial and residential real estate matters. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (B.A., 1988) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 1993).
Ms. Temes, who resides in the Firm's Syracuse Office, is a member of the Firm's Business Restructuring, Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice. She focuses her practice on matters pertaining to commercial bankruptcy and reorganizations, creditors' rights and commercial transactions. She has represented a variety of clients, including chapter 11 debtors, not-for-profit corporations including hospitals and nursing homes, creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors, companies seeking to acquire assets in bankruptcy, and landlords. Ms. Temes is a graduate of Wellesley College (B.A., cum laude, 2000) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., 2003).
