Under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, public school districts are required to provide accommodations, supports and services to students with disabilities. During this webinar we will review all phases of the Section 504 process including child-find, conducting evaluations, convening Section 504 meetings, developing Section 504 plans, providing prior written notice and complying with all parental procedural safeguards. We will also provide tips and strategies for your district to avoid litigation and fulfill its legal obligations
