Ryan represents clients in a variety of business/commercial disputes ranging from breach of contract, unjust enrichment, conversion, construction disputes, business torts, fraud, misrepresentation, tortious interference, unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duty, covenants not to compete, non-solicitation, non-disclosure agreements, judgment enforcement, partnership dissolution, waivers and releases, and enforcement of employment agreements.
In addition to business/commercial litigation, Ryan spends a substantial portion of his practice in the areas of personal injury, product’s liability, premises liability, Labor Law §§ 240(1), 241(6) & 200, construction litigation, defamation, professional malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, fire loss, water loss, toxic tort, and insurance coverage disputes. Ryan also represents clients and municipalities with respect to land use permitting disputes.
Ryan volunteers his time as President of the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates, a member of the Board of Directors for the Albany County Bar Association (ACBA), and Chair of the ACBA CLE Committee. Ryan also handles landlord/tenant and prisoner rights pro-bono matters.
When Ryan is not practicing law, he is spending time with his family, lifting weights, skiing, cycling, mountain biking, rucking, hiking, rock climbing, playing team sports and many other outdoor activities. He is also an avid fan of college and professional sports, and he has a strong passion for cars and driving his car on the track.
