Jeffrey is a business law attorney who represents a wide range of small to mid-size businesses across New York State, including Metropolitan New York City.

As a member of the firm’s exempt organizations practice, he engages in a broad not-for-profit corporate and business law practice. Jeffrey has represented not-for-profit clients regarding corporate formation, obtaining tax exempt status with the IRS, merger, consolidation and dissolution.

He also regularly advises not-for-profit boards and committees regarding best practices and other compliance matters, including compliance with New York’s recently enacted Nonprofit Revitalization Act of 2013.

In addition to being a member of the firm’s exempt organizations practice, Jeffrey is also a member of the firm’s business and healthcare practice groups, in which he advises businesses on multiple levels and aspects of their business operations and transactional matters, including succession planning, acquisitions, mergers and sales, secured financings, non-qualified deferred compensation matters, equity-related employee benefit matters, shareholder/principal relations, contract negotiations and state and federal tax planning.
